Code 015 PRECISION WIRE FLATTENING ROLLING MILL D40

Dimensions 100x70x135(h) cm
Work Speed Variabile con Inverter
Power 3 HP

The machine is aimed at flattening WIRES or METAL STRIPS having a thickness of maximum 0.70 mm reaching minimum thickness of 0.03 mm with tolerance of 2 micron.

The flattening action is obtained by means of nr.2 opposite rotating rolls which can be drawn closer to each other or moved away from each other by means of a manual thickness-adjusting device equipped with a gradual indicator. The mechanical flattening parts consists of an electromotor connected with a reducer with two delivery sides, one for each flattening roll.

Transmission gears (belts and pulleys) put into motion nr.2 universal shafts linked to flattening rolls. The wire and the metal strip to be worked can be wound within the WINDING device equipped with a spool having a special mechanical device which allows it to rotate while winding and the alternated lateral movement in order to optimize the winding process of the product itself.

The rotation of the spool is equipped with an adjustable mechanincal friction clutch which allows the rotation to slide in case of an excess of the drive of the wire or metal strip. The winding-off of the wire and metal strip is carried out by means of a special spool which can be placed on the winding-off arm equipped with stroke-end, which stops the machine in case the wire or metal strip are too taut.

The working speed can be electronically adjusted (by means of a potentiometer and an inverter). The flattening head is equipped with a system for water cooling. The mechanical working parts are equipped with an automatic lubrication system.
