This machine was planned in order to weld two plates of gold or of another metal material by means of a TIG welding machine.

The plates are driven by means of three engine-driven rolls with adjustable speed and the rolls are driven by means of two adjustable gibs. The thickness of the strips could be from 0,20 mm up to 1 mm, with a maximum width of 55 mm.

This machine is installed on a supporting box-like structure endowed in its upper part with plate-driving unit and welding burner, and equipped in its central part with electric fittings and in its lower part with a compartment for the built-in TIG welding machine.

This machine is made up of the following main parts:
